All of us at Avataq Cultural Institute were deeply saddened by the sudden death on October 10th of Emily Novalinga, a true pioneer in the world of Nunavimmiut poetry.

In honour of her memory, we are presenting a short film about Emily and her poetry, as well as some recollections prepared by some close friends and colleagues.
