The sun gives us life because it warms us (although sometimes not much). It gives us light and darkness, which we appreciate. It gives us day and night, summer and winter, cold and heat. It regulates life and death. No one can destroy our universe, because it follows its own will.
The moon illuminates the night and guides us through the darkness. The Inuit have always relied on the moon and the stars for direction. The stars all have Inuit names.
